Dry Scalp and Hair

2 of the top complaints of both men and women are dry scalp and dry hair. The problem is that most and hair use products lke dimethicones and silicones that simply coat the scalp the same way that say a chap stick does you lips. This coating keeps moisture from escaping and it keep dry wind from its arrid attack. However, the side effects are great. With shampoos for dry scalp then the scalp cannot breathe correctly, then the reproduction function of the hair is hampered. This is because oxygen is needed for hair to reproduce. This does not mean that your hair will stop growing but it often does mean that your hair’s health will suffer greatly. The end result is that your dry hair now ultimately becomes drier and the same with your scalp problems.

If you use a flat iron or curling iron that heats up and you have the dimethocone based shampoos or hair treatments in your hair then you will actually burn the hair as the dimethicone heats up very rapidly when it contact with a flat iron or curling iron. This damage is irreversible. You have to wait for your hair to grow out. However, if you are consistently using flat irons and dimethicone (almost every shampoo and conditioner out there for dry hair or hair control, frizzy control etc) then you will keep having hair damage.

THE BETTER SOLUTION:

Here is some logic for you. Why not use oils that the scalp actually needs or can use and not a just a coating that offers a short term solution. The two best oils are emu oil and jojoba oil. Often times you can find the two in the same shampoo for dry hair. Emu oil shampoo does an amazing job on the hair and the scalp. It not only works for dry hair and dry scalp but it also is amazing for hair growth and hair health in general. It is known to awaken all follilces on the head for maximum growth.
